During this guided tour, participants not only explore subway stations, but also immerse themselves in local stories and gain insight into the daily lives of people traveling through Espoo's world of charming art and cutting-edge subway technologies. Additionally, they may briefly experience elements of water and, with some luck, hear calming music. Participants marvel at the connection between Brutalist Concrete Architecture and the space race era of the 1960s with the subway - and even admire Finland's longest escalators. The highlight of this tour lies not only in mere observation, but in captivating insights into the history of public transportation and the fascinating wonders of subway construction.

The meeting point is at the western endpoint of the main entrance to Kivenlahti Subway Station, "Kivenlahdentori." We will meet inside the station building.

During the tour, elevators and funiculars will be used. We will also be partly outdoors, so it is important to dress according to the weather conditions. However, in case of bad weather, the tour can be adapted to remain indoors.

Please note that travel time may vary depending on group size and public transportation schedules. The aim is to plan the journey so that a single ticket for 80 minutes is sufficient to cover the time within the paid subway area. The tour concludes at the Finnoo Meritie entrance, located at Meritie 10.

Included in the price: Guided Group tour, 2 hours
